Your AI Chat Isn't Private.

Leaking Data Through AI Chats

That AI chat isn’t private. Privacy policies prove it.

A new study looked at six major AI companies - OpenAI, Google, Meta, Microsoft, Amazon, and Anthropic. Every single one uses your conversations to train their models by default.

Not if you opt in. By default. You’re already in the training data unless you opt out. (We’ll talk about the historical impact of this another time).

And it’s not just what you type in the chat - it’s the files you upload. The PDFs you drop in for a quick summary. The documents you share without thinking twice.

Your social security number. Your bank statements. Your medical records. Your address. If it’s in that file, it could be sitting in their training data right now.

And some of these companies keep it indefinitely.

So here’s what you do.

One - go ahead and opt out of training in your AI settings. Right now. Most people never do and don’t realize it is an option.

Two - before you upload any document to an AI tool, redact the sensitive information. Permanently. Not a black box you can pull the text out from under. Actually gone.

That’s exactly why I built 404PDF.com - It deletes sensitive info from your files for good before you share them anywhere. And it’s free.

Protect yourself before you hit upload.
